Biography
Naseer Hashim
Naseer Hashim builds companies where a technology is ready and the market has not caught up yet. Across two decades he has founded, scaled and sold businesses in healthcare, legal services and artificial intelligence.
He founded Imaging Advantage in 2007 and led it as Chairman and CEO until its sale to Envision Healthcare in 2017. An early disrupter of the $100 billion imaging market, the company moved radiology into the cloud and became one of the largest radiology and telemedicine providers in the US. Its impact earned a multi-million-dollar Innovation Award from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and led Goldman Sachs, its lead investor, to name him one of the Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs in America.
Before that, he helped develop the offshore strategy behind HealthScribe, which grew into one of the largest medical transcription companies in the world, and founded and sold Legal Advantage, a patent and trademark services firm.
He went on to found ZeroToOne.AI, a predictive AI company, and made it profitable with its final acquisition, bringing GroundTruth and WeatherBug into one business. With that done, he moved on to build what comes next.
He has served as Senior Fellow and Lead Global Advisor for Artificial Intelligence, Innovation and New Sciences at the Atlantic Council, and designed a graduate Capstone program at Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College. He advises corporations and governments on AI and speaks at conferences around the world.
A Cornell graduate, he began his career as an attorney at Skadden, Arps, which later featured him on the cover of its international alumni magazine.
